On April 18th and 19th, the Taylor County softball team traveled to Somerset in Pulaski County to play in the Lake Cumberland Fast Pitch Tournament.  Over the two-day span, the Lady Cards played six games to win the tournament.  Taylor did lose their first game of the season to a strong Danville team to make their record now stand at 14-1.
During the tournament, Taylor County beat Wayne County 8-1, Pulaski County 10-5, lost to Danville 1-2, destroyed Russell County 15-0, and faced Madison Central in the Championship to win 8-6.
Lauren Cox and Jennifer England both made the All-Tournament team for the Lady Cards.
